Little Ones
Hey mama!
Whether this is your first baby or you've done this a few times, you probably have questions about what to expect when it comes to a portrait session for your little one...
FAQ
Where do sessions take place?
Sessions take place in your home to capture the joy and excitement of those first few days with the new baby. This also allows us to get pictures of baby in their sweet nursery that you put so much effort into!
How long is a session?
Sessions are about two hours in length. I like to allow enough time for baby to take a break for a feeding if needed.
When is the best time to schedule a newborn session?
Within the first two weeks of birth when babies spend most of the time sleeping.
Can parents and siblings be included in the photos?
Absolutely! We definitely want to get photos of baby with both parents and siblings.
What does a typical session look like?
When I arrive at your home we will decide which rooms will be best for photographing in, typically nursery, living room, or master bedroom. We will get group shots of the whole family, baby with each parent and both parents together, baby with siblings, and individuals of baby.
How do I book a session?
Contact us with your due date to schedule a tentative session date. Once you have reviewed and signed a contract we will send an invoice. A 50% deposit is required to reserve a tentative date and the remaining balance is due one week before the confirmed session date.
