The perfect spot...
When it comes to senior portraits, the goal is to capture the essence of a significant life milestone. As a photographer, there's nothing quite as fulfilling as finding the perfect location that complements the spirit and personality of a high school senior. Living in Sarasota, the beach is often the first location that comes to mind when thinking about where to take portraits. However, for this young lady, she was looking for a place with a little bit of that "old Florida" feeling. Thankfully, Myakka State Park would be the perfect spot.
We arrived a little before sunset and found a gorgeous wooded spot where the sun was shedding golden light through the trees. A cute green dress complimented the warm earthy colors of the park and a pair of black converse showcased her fun personality. Along the edge of the woods was a path that led to an open field with tall palm trees.
